I met a super couple called Laura and Tim last weekend in the grounds of Whirlowbrook Hall in Sheffield. We had originally planned to meet on the Saturday but the weather was foul so we rescheduled for the Sunday – a good move because the weather completely cleared up. We jumped a few gates, crossed through some fields and walked around the woods and grounds which surround the Hall. It was great to get to know the couple and their cute cocker spaniel and I can’t wait to photograph their up and coming wedding at the stunning Hassop Hall.. its going to be great!
I met Thom & Laura in York on Sunday to take a few photos during a wonder around the centre of York and to chat about their upcoming wedding at the incredible National Railway Museum. Here are a selection of photos from the day…
Regular visitors to my blog will have realised that I have been neglecting my blog for some time despite photographing some beautiful weddings earlier this summer…
My excuse for this absence and neglect; well… this summer has been crazy..amazing.. incredible.. you name it.. every emotion! Why you ask? – I got married 10 days ago! Jess and I got married in the small village of Bamford in the Peak District. The ceremony was held in a small village church and the reception was held in a barn in the middle of no where. The wedding reception was very much a DIY wedding as we organised the whole thing juggling multiple companies and suppliers.. I’m a bit of an project manager geek so I loved it!
I will upload some more photo’s in the coming weeks but here are a few sample shoots from our wedding and honeymoon in Indonesia.
Each and every wedding I am shooting this year is a special one.. even more special than usual! Why you ask? … well, I get married myself in a few weeks time and I am consequently shooting fewer weddings than usual this summer. I was therefore hugely honoured to photograph Rhian and Dave’s recent wedding in the beautiful ancient Ecclesall Woods, Sheffield. The weather gods were not being kind to Rhian and Dave on the morning of their wedding but everything changed shortly before the ceremony began and the sun finally came out. Here are a selection of photos which tell the story of their special day…
Here are a selection of photos from Rhian and Dave’s sunny engagement shoot in Ecclesall Woods in Sheffield. The engagement shoot was a little different to usual because Rhian and Dave brought along their beautiful little girl called Grace. Fingers crossed for equally gorgeous weather when Rhian and Dave get married later this spring!
