I’m very much looking forward to covering Joy are Harry’s wedding which will be taking place in Buxton in a few weeks time, it was great to catch up last weekend and  chat about all their plans whilst taking some informal engagement photos along the River Don in Sheffield.

The pre wedding shoot incorporated a few precarious  moments including walk  along an old rusty bridge, an balancing act (on rocks alongside the river) and an impressive bollard  jumping act by the groom to be, photos enclosed below!

I met Emma and Neil in Kelham Island in Sheffield on Monday. The sun was shining but it was still pretty cold so we caught up over a coffee at the brilliant Grind Cafe in Cornwall Works (I was introduced to this gem of a cafe by Joy & Harry who will be getting married in Buxton next month)

We then braved the cold and walked around Kelham Island taking the odd photo as we walked along the river and around the old industrial buildings. It was good to meet Emma & Neil again as our initial meeting last year was quite brief. We rounded off the engagement shoot with a swift pint at the Fat Cat pub. Emma and Neil are getting married in Sheffield next month, I can’t wait to be part of their day!

I don’t normally cover parties but I was more than happy to photograph  Adam and Tara’s engagement party when they recently contacted me. I first met Adam and Tara in September at Kerry & Richards wedding so I was really happy for them both when I heard that Adam had proposed whilst snowboarding in France! The engagement party was held in a beautiful private bar area at the brand new Gentings Casino in the centre of Sheffield and I was there to photograph the party and a very special moment which Adam was completely unaware was going to happen…

You see, Adam was completely unaware (as I arrived and shook his hand) that I had a special gift from Tara hidden in my camera bag.. a Rolex!
