Salud Per Aqua _Health spa and urban sanctuary
"The transformation of a once hidden, lost and undiscovered victorian gem"
The project explores how a health spa and urban sanctuary can be designed and constructed in the centre of an urban area providing a resort and relaxation facility for the hard working, 21st century working professional. The project strives to offer busy working professionals and city workers a chance to escape, revitalise and relax through a series of specialist treatments and non-medical procedures. The concealed structure and development to be located in and around the grounds of the Sheffield General Cemetery, a public park and historic woodland is cloaked and hidden away from the surrounding urban sprawl. The development should neatly make use of, interconnect and unite the existing derelict structures which will be carefully and tastefully refurbished to form a modern and luxurious facility.
