Finchwell Barn
This project explores the feasibility of significantly increasing the floor area of an existing barn conversion through the introduction of a large lean to Contemporary extension.

An exposed oak and steel frame forms a large lean to structure which doubles the footprint of the existing barn conversion forming a large open plan living space and a private office space separated by an external terrace. Large floor to eave level glazed sliding doors wrap around the rear facade of the new extension broken up by white rendered pillars which in turn support a black slate roof.
